I was actually a bit disappointed when Digital Onslaught wasn't actually in Ninja Scroll, even though that would have been impossible.

Probably posted this before, can’t remember, but it remains fabulous.

Not only is Digital Onslaught a banger of a track, Ninja Scroll remains the most anime of animes to my mind, and exists in my brain as something of an archetype.

Ah yes, super-violent 90′s anime - you mean like Ninja Scroll? That one where a wooden boat is on fire at the end and that is somehow hot enough to melt gold? Awesome.

Edit: Now that it's not late at night and I have my laptop out, I'm editing this so it sounds less like the ramblings of a madwoman (tho there's a limited amount I can do seeing as it is, in fact, the ramblings of a madwoman lol). Also formatting and clarity and any additional theories/headcanons/whatever I think of while editing this.

Partly crack, partly copium, but I've got some theories/crossover/au thing going on that I wanted to write down so here goes:

Crack/Copium/Theories:

All 3 of the trailblazer kids are actually "dead" aeons.

Stelle/Caelus: Akivili (Herta makes us LARP as Akivili in Hertian Realm and we're known as the Trailblazer while Akivili is known as the Trailblaze so idk I know the player character looks like Nanook but they ain't dead soooo...)

Dan Heng: Long (maybe the High Elder Vidyadhara is actually Long's own reincarnation but they have no idea bc memory wipe. TBH makes no sense for the Permanence to be dead)

March 7th: Idrila (this one's a bit of a stretch so bear with me. The Aeon of Beauty could be HoHe Elysia expy and March is also kinda Elysia expy so ??? And March was froze in ice without memory so it's totally possible that's Idrila's mysterious disappearance)

Also:

Sampo is Aha. He gives strong vibes of being a Masked Fool in canon, but I think it'd be funny if he's actually the Elation.

Pom-pom was created by Akivili to protect the Express after Aha blew it up. Pom-pom is also a proficient marksman. This is bc of some canon evidence alluding to Pom-pom actually being really powerful (Yanqing and Welt both make mention of it iirc) and the engine of the train looking like a revolver. (Also headcanon that the Astral Express itself was made from one of Akivili's twin revolver pistols. Perhaps the other has the ability to summon the train?)

Lan has not and will not kill Yaoshi bc yin-yang/life and death balance and also bc what is a hunter without prey. The Hunt had no issue killing the Propagation, so this seems like the most reasonable reason why the Hunt has been after the Abundance so long without killing them.

On aeons and the relations between paths (I might end up making a relationship chart?):

Death Aeons: Nanook is unnatural death (think murder, natural disaster, etc.), while IX is natural entropic death (like degradation from aging), Lan is controlled, balanced death (think like hunters/predators keeping ecosystem in balance), and Oroboros is the death caused by one's own greed (think pollution, overconsumption). Terminus is the end of time and final death of the universe.

Life Aeons: Tayzzyronth is overabundant life (think how invasive species population boom bc outcompeting native species for resources), Yaoshi is overabundant continuation of life (think unnaturally prolonged life), and Long is eternity (without change or growth, entropy comes for all).

Mythus and Nous are polar opposites in path direction. Akivili is midway between the two (to trailblaze is to turn the unknown into the known).

Some paths are directly at odds with each other (opposite directions), some paths have overlap (too much overlap leads to one path consuming the other like with Ena and Xipe), and some paths are neutral (running perpendicular to the others). Mostly this matters in relation to pathstriders who walk multiple paths, as it is extremely unlikely to find, for example, someone simultaneously walking both the path of the Hunt and the Abundance.

Hooh's is the ultimate neutral path. Akivili's is also a fairly neutral path, though slight odds with Mythus's (to seek to make the unknown known doesn't really work with the idea nothing can be known) and maybe Aha (just bc Aha is a jerk and like Herta said, surely Akivili would've taken offense to Aha blowing up the Express). Idrila, Xipe, Fuli, Aha, and Qlipoth also have relatively neutral paths, though Qlipoth and Fuli are at odds with Nanook and Mythus. Xipe sometimes does not get along with Aha, if Aha is being particularly antagonistic.

Crossover/AU (Genshin):

Traveler and twin are Akivili (one soul two bodies, don't think too hard about it). Akivili is presumed dead by HSR universe bc Sustainer of Heavenly Principles imprisoned Akivili on Teyvat (a world at the fringes of the known universe/Yggdrasil/Irmunsul/Imaginary Tree). Claiming that they are siblings is far easier to explain than that they are two halves of the same god.

Zhongli/Morax is a high elder (do non-high elders have the ability to turn fully into dragons? are there any high elders who are not Dan Heng? idk) vidyadhara who arrived on Teyvat shortly before rebirth. Idk weird Teyvat magic or something made his rebirth cycle this time 10x longer than normal (should only be 600-700 years between rebirth and he's canonically 6000 years old). He is unaware of anything HSR related bc memory wipe from rebirth and nobody around to explain things.

The Imaginary Tree in HI3 and HSR and Irminsul in Genshin are the same tree (Yggdrasil), but some may only be branches of the other

So yeah, stay tuned to see HoYo prove my theories and headcanons wrong in the upcoming years.

Helloooo ! How r u ? Can I request how would HSR mens will react with a s/o that is the Herrscher of Finality ? (Like Jing Yuan, Blade, Welt and Dan Heng) s/o has the same power as this Herrscher, and that has travelled through HSR world with their powers. Would they make theories about them being someone related to Terminus (Aeon of Finality) ? And how they would react to their powers as well (like earth being placed down a samsara, stopping time, and maybe if you want ascending Herrschers ?)

Blade doesn't ever admit it, but he finds your abilities secretly very intriguing. Even if he's absolutely convinced, that you somehow got them from an Aeon. Not that he really cares for their origins, as your strength and power is what he loves the most. Especially your ability to just stop time whenever you want, as he finds it to be the only moment he can find some peace from the busy world around him. He also will begrudgingly listen to you speak about your many journeys, acting like he doesn't care, as he leans in closer for more.

He always watches in anticipation, when you're in battle. The moment you use your abilities and defeat your unsuspecting enemies with ease, he always nods in quiet acknowledgement at your strength he respects so much. When you explain to him your origins and ability to even ascend herrschers, he finds himself even more impressed. Your power is unrivaled to him and anyone that dares disagree, will meet the end of his sword.

》Jing Yuan

When he first learns of your abilities and strength, his mind immideatly theorises just how exactly you could have gained them. The first one that came to mind, was ofcourse you being somehow blessed by an Aeon and eventually, he concludes that that might just be true. You are certainly divine to him after all. And he has no qualms to use your great abilities for his plans and strategies as well. He has you therefore always working very closely to him and admires your powers that way to the fullest. He also always urges you to tell him about your travels and wants to know every single detail.

He secretly near worships your abilities on the battlefield, often standing back with a smug, proud smile, as you obliterate your common enemy. Your ability to ascend other herrschers also fills him with a deep need to know more and perhaps even see it himself. To say that he was absolutely smitten with you, would be an understatement.

》Dan Heng

Dan Heng didn't really care much for your abilities. Not because he didn't find them impressive, he just simply saw no point in making a big deal out of them and simply just saw them as another part of you he loved dearly. He however doesn't mind you telling him all about your journeys and often wonders, if he can join you on the next one. He might even archive your stories for future use in his database.

On the battlefield, he'll nod impressively at your power and feats, but that's where his visible praise usually stops. Your time stopping abilities do intrigue him however, even if it isn't too noticeable. He just finds the way everything comes to a full stop, except for you and him, somewhat comforting. Especially when he can just hold onto the moment with you for just a bit longer.

》Welt Yang

Welt was impressed by your abilities, but not surprised by them. He ofcourse knew all about Herrschers, having been one himself, which is why he doesn't make too much of a big deal out of it. He'll even help you with a cover story from everyone else too, if needed be. But with that said, he loves hearing of your travels and enjoys sharing his own stories too, whenever you catch up after missions. He chuckles softly, whenever you tell him about the theories people have about your existence, as he knows the full truth ofcourse.

He has your back during battles and often keeps you safe, even during your time stopping ability. He respects your power and strength and doesn't allow anyone to underestimate you. Even if he's the only person to know of your real origins, he takes alot of pride in having you as his s/o.

Je venais de quitter ma mère au téléphone lui disant que j'allais certainement rentrer à l'auberge ou bien me faire un trajet de métro et rentrer à pieds (j'adore me faire des tours de métro sachez-le).

Dans la station, je remarque un garçon qui m'a interpellé : son charme, ses nombreux tatouages et ce qu'il dégageait. J'écris directement à une amie "Je viens de trouver l'amour de ma vie, il est juste à coter de moi". Le métro arrive, peu de place on se serre tous, lui et moi comprit. Deux stations plus loin le métro se vide un peu, je savais que j'avais beaucoup de temps devant moi avant le terminus alors je décide de sortir mon livre "Rêveries du promeneur solitaire" de Rousseau. Je le vois se pencher, tentant de lire le titre. Alors, tout naturellement je lui montre ce que je lis. Puis il me dit "Tu lis ça pour la fac ou pour les cours" EN FRANÇAIS ? Je lui réponds que c'est pour le plaisir, lui me dit que personne ne lit du Rousseau pour le plaisir, que ce n'est pas possible.

On commence désormais à faire connaissance, me demandant qu'est-ce que je fais dans un métro à Vienne et à cette heure-ci (il devait être 21h30). On discute pendant deux trois arrêts jusqu'à que le chauffeur annonce que le métro a un soucis et que nous sommes tous obligés de descendre à la prochaine station. On se dit que c'est le destin, qu'on doit continuer cette conversation. Alors, on marche, on parle de nos vies, de nos auteurs préférés, de nos lectures.

On tombe sur un bar, par chance il fermait dans 30 min mais on a pu quand même commander. Heureusement, cet inconnu parle français car sa mère est née en France, qu'il a été au lycée français à Vienne et qu'il avait fait deux ans de prépa à Paris. Mais ce qui voulait dire qu'il était bilingue allemand (merci la vie j'en pouvais plus de commander et de commander en anglais surtout). Dès qu'on s'assoit, il sort son carnet et écrit directement la date du jour, mon prénom, la ligne de métro où on s'est rencontrés et écrit "couleur de cheveux inconnu" (nous n'avions pas réussit à déterminer si j'étais rousse ou si j'avais les cheveux rouges).

Je passe les détails sinon ce post ferait 10000 lignes. On finit par partir du bar, on marchait et il me lance un "Mais en fait on est dans Before Sunrise, on vit un rêve Leyan, je suis sûr que demain quand on va se lever rien de tout ça n'aura exister". Je lui avoue que je n'ai jamais vu ce film, film qui raconte l'histoire de deux inconnus qui se rencontrent dans le train et l'américain demande à la française si elle veut rester avec lui à Vienne le temps d'une nuit. C'était totalement nous, sauf que nous, l'amour était platonique. Comme il m'a dit "C'est la rencontre de nos deux âmes, pas de nos deux corps". Et, je pense que c'est la chose la plus merveilleuse que nos corps ne se soit pas rencontrés. De toute façon, on ne c'est pas parler pour se draguer. C'était spéciale.

Finalement, on se décide d'aller regarder le film dans le hall de mon auberge. Trop de bruits. Il réserve une chambre privative juste pour qu'on regarde le film. On a parler durant tout le film, on coupait le film pour se dire que par moment c'était vraiment nous. Après l'avoir vu, on s'est demandés "Et qu'est-ce qu'on fait quand le soleil va se lever ?". On a beaucoup réfléchit, on s'est dit que le meilleur moyen de continuer ce rêve ce n'était pas de prendre nos contacts. Juste un rendez-vous après ses examens de médecine. Il m'a écrit un poème de Pablo Neruda en espagnol, pour me montrer que je n'ai pas rêver de cette rencontre juste spectaculaire. Personnellement, je lui ai laissé une petite lettre, le remerciant d'avoir une âme aussi pure et saine. On avait l'impression de se connaître depuis toujours et en même temps pas du tout c'était très étrange. Je l'ai laissé dormir, je suis partie au lever du soleil. J'espère qu'il a prit mon message, qu'il a prit cette lettre. J'espère qu'il va venir au rendez-vous. Si un de nous deux ne peut pas finalement, on s'est dit qu'on allait se recroiser un jour de façon anodine, c'était sûr et certain. J'ai quand même mit à la fin de ma lettre "Et si on ne se revoit pas, souviens toi que tu as un visage pour être aimé". Car, c'est totalement vrai. Cet inconnu à un visage pour être aimé (et puis aussi lui rappeler qu'il doit lire du Paul Eluard).
